VSM abrasives are manufactured in Hannover where they are computer controlled to assure consistency run after run. To ensure this process, abrasive rolls are quarantined into qualification labs for testing before being released to company converting plants. While in the labs, the rolls of abrasive undergo grinding tests to check for grain retention, durability and flexibility to ensure product quality. Once VSM technicians prove the products rolls are up to the task, they are shipped internationally and converted into hundreds of different types of products.
